Ecru created a responsive design and rebuilt the IAP website using the Kentico Ultimate content management system
The International Association of Prosecutors (the IAP) is the worldwide organisation of prosecutors with members from over 140 jurisdictions and with 166 organisations as members, dedicated to raising the standards of professional conduct and ethics by prosecutors throughout the world. The IAP website is a crucial component of their strategy to communicate and to foster communication across borders:
Ecru was engaged by the IAP to redevelop their website in an epic project with several crucial objectives:
After an extensive research phase Ecru proposed the Kentico Ultimate content management system. Aside from its track record as a corporate grade system, Kentico has a massive ticklist of features that go beyond the IAP's initial requirements but gives huge scope for future developments that will solve real-world challenges like the ability to integrate with a wide range of systems, and to feature ecommerce transactions.
With such a wide range of existing functionality out of the box, Kentico offers a very rapid development lifecycle which meant that Ecru were able to deliver the website on time and within budget.
As time goes on the variety of devices and platforms that websites need to work on grows and grows. Responsive web design involves clever use of CSS to ensure that whatever device you are using to access a website, smart phone, tablet PC, iPad, laptop, desktop computer or television (to name just some), you always see the website at its best and you can always access the information you need.
The IAP website was built to comply with WC3 AA accessibility standards to ensure equality of access to the information.
The IAP is a truly multinational organisation whose members need to communicate in a wide range of languages. The Kentico content management system was therefore the ideal choice.
